Best Puri Itinerary for 3 days - Crafting Unforgettable Memories in your holidays

Puri is the one of the best tourist places in India where people want to visit one time in their life. Located on the eastern coast of India, this enchanting city offers a perfect blend of cultural heritage, natural beauty, and divine experiences. I visited the Jagannath puri for the first time in my life with proper planning and made my own itinerary for the puri tour and that puri tour plan I want to share with you.Let's discuss the Puri tour Itinerary for 3 days & 4 Night 

I reached the Puri evening time from ahmedabad through a train which runs between Gandhidham to Puri and checked in my hotel which was already booked then took a rest for some time then after sometime I explored the restaurant to take dinner and coming back in my hotel and next morning I start my tour as per below itinerary.

Puri tour itinerary for 3 days & 4 Nights

Day 1: Explore beaches & Jagannath Temple

Morning: 

I visited the Puri beaches early morning 6.00 am because you can find here peace and fresh atmosphere, and another reason is as per ritual need to touch sea beach or bath at beach before visit Jagannath Temple. I explored popular beaches here like Golden Beach and Swargadwar beach etc.

Afternoon :

Visit Jagannath Temple: After a quick refreshment, head to the world-renowned Jagannath Temple. This sacred Hindu temple is a significant pilgrimage site and its one of the Chardham destination in India. Make sure to explore the surrounding area, as there are many smaller shrines and markets to discover. You can eat world famous Mahaparshad during lunch time, and its buy from Ananda Bazaar of the Grand Temple and I brought 3-4 items in Mahaparshad for two people in Just 200rs, but you can as per your need.

Evening:

Relax at Puri Beach: Spend your evening unwinding at the picturesque Puri Beach. The golden sands and the vast expanse of the Bay of Bengal make it an ideal spot to catch a mesmerizing sunset. 

Night: 

Indulge in some authentic Odia cuisine at a local eatery. Don't miss out on trying the delectable seafood that Puri is famous for. 

Day 2: Beach & Chilika visit in my Puri itinerary

Morning:

Sunrise at Beach: Start your day early by catching the sunrise at Puri Beach. The tranquil ambiance and breathtaking views make for a serene morning experience.

Chilika Lake Excursion: Embark on a day trip to the nearby Chilika Lake, the largest coastal lagoon in India. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake, spot migratory birds, and visit sea mouth island where you can see one side of Chilika lake water and another side bay of bengal.

Afternoon:

Enjoy a good lunch near Chilika lake but the restaurants are not so good and you need to order in advance. For two people I paid nearly 250 rs. 

Evening: 

Return to Puri: Head back to Puri in the evening and spend some leisure time exploring the local markets for souvenirs and traditional handicrafts. 

Night:

Visit the nearby Swargadwar beach and explore street food but if you do not like it then you can visit Four Seasons Tandoori Bites restaurant because the food quality is very good and I think you can also like it. 

Day 3: Konark & Bhubaneswar Visit its my last day of  Puri Tour itinerary

Morning: 

Visit Chandrabhaga Beach : First visit Chandrabhaga Beach through booked cab or you can visit through tourist bus and another option rental two wheeler, and this beach famous for cleaness and Sand Art. I booked a cab for the Konark to Bhubaneswar tour in 2500rs, and covered three-four destinations in this package. 

Konark Sun Temple:Visit to the famous Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afternoon:

Have Odia lunch at a local restaurant in Bhubaneswar then visit the famous Lingaraj Temple. Lingaraj Temple is the oldest temple of temple city Bhubaneswar and this temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and it is a very beautiful tourist destination.  

Evening:

Returning back to Puri and visiting the Golden beach will spend some relaxing time and complete your tour with happy moments.   

What is the total tour cost of Puri?

Puri is not very expensive, but let me give you an overview of tour costs here. This cost is for two people or a couple.

 

• Hotel accommodation cost nearly 10000 rs with tax for 3 days & 4 night in AC room and its 3 star hotel
• Chilika tourist bus ticket cost per head 350 rs for AC & 300 for Non AC
• Chilika Boating cost 350 rs per head
• Food cost nearly 2000-3000 rs
• Puri-Konark-Bhubaneswar tour cab cost 2500 rs
• Konark temple & IOC museum cost 75 rs per head

 

Total Puri tour cost goes nearly 15000-16000 rs, but train tour cost not included
