Kevadia is a small village in Narmada district of Indian state Gujarat. Kevadia is known for Sardar Sarovar dam but after the launch of Statue of Unity, this place becomes world-famous.

For the world largest 182-metre-high statue and Kevadia Tourism Circuit, now Kevadia becomes a tourism hub of India and therefore Government built a highly facilitated railway station for tourism connectivity. PM Narendra Modi flag off 8 new trains to increase connectivity to boost Gujarat's Kevadia tourism, and one train is the Jan Shatabdi Express between Ahmedabad and Kevadia that have Vistadome coaches. PM Narendra Modi also launched a new broad-gauge line and the new station buildings of Dabhoi, Chandod and Kevadiya. These railway station buildings are designed with new features and modern passenger facilities. Kevadiya is the first Green building certification railway station in India. This is the first time the railway has started 8 trains from different places for one destination.
